ENGINE

The engine is a 6G72BT developed by Mitsubishi. It is a 3.0L, V6, DOHC, 24 valve, twin turbo charged power plant. The Stealth RT/Turbo features a 5 speed manual transmission built by Getrag of Germany. Four-wheel steering is standard on the RT/Turbo. Working only above 30 mph, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels at a maximum radius of 1.5 degrees. This improves handling stability and provides excellent high speed maneuvering ability.

Following are some pictures of the engine compartment. I have been spending lots of time detailing the engine and replacing various components. Intercooler piping has been replaced with 2" chrome piping. Y-pipe is polished steel from Alamo Motorsports. Plenum, valve cover and HKS SMF piping have all been polished.
